Steven Skyler comes from a Eurasian background who had practically juggled his life between Thailand and America. His professional career took off at the age of 14 when he was chosen as one of the top-3 teen PREAW Male Model during a search in Bangkok.
His first commercial was for Head & Shoulders. It was followed by P & G, My Mint, Toyota Saluna, Fanta Orange, Nokia, Mama Instant Noodles, and Sprite, among other 19 commercials he had starred in. For ramp, he has been featured in the yearly Bangkok Fashion Week, and also has modeled for Guess, Armani, Esprit, Nautica, Greyhound, and other major clothing designers.
His passion for music led him to sign a five-year contract with Grammy Entertainment Company, Ltd. as the lead vocalist of the four-member teen pop group, OZONE. Their self-titled album was a certified hit. It had a sales receipt of 250,000 CD units. From 2000 until 2003, he toured and performed across the country.
Before his contract with Grammys expired, Steven decided to go on solo, shifting from R&B/Pop, to writing songs for rock/dance genre. In the acting department, parallel with his musical and modeling career, Steven had guest-starred in a few episodes of a top television soap in Thai's Channel 7 in 2005, inkling a positive tv-acting career. But even before this mattered, his family moved back to Los Angeles permanently and decided to continue his musical and acting career in Hollywood.
At the star-studded Mr. Asia USA 2007 in April 2007, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Steven bested out 27 candidates with the most winning trophies, bagging the 2nd runner-up and Mr. Photogenic. He returned the following year to co-host the gala ceremony and the fashion show segment.
Steven Skyler was last seen in ABC 7's new crime drama "The Forgotten."

Actor/singer Steven Skyler gives out to charities by performing onstage.The lead vocalist of his band “Skyler” performed at the Christmas celebration party for the 578th National Guards Headquarter in Manhattan Beach, California.Steven performed fifteen songs, including his original composition “Fall Away.”

“I hope everyone’s having a good time with your families here.It is such a great pleasure and honor to perform for you guys.We do appreciate your courage and bravery, and hope you’ll be safe as you return back from your duties.May the Lord guide you always!” Steven said in between his performance.
The event was a whole day Christmas party where families and friends of 578th battalion army guards enjoy a full meal, entertainment, and fun activities for children, including packing Christmas gifts for militaries deployed in Iraq.
Steven is currently in the play “One Night Stands,” Fridays, at the Avery Shreiber Theater in North Hollywood.He will be next seen in 2009 in films “Tied in Knots” and “Red Velvet.”
