Ray is fluent in French and Farsi (Persian language). He graduated in 2007 at the University of Texas in Arlington, Texas with Broadcast Management credits. He won 1st place - Advanced level French Poetry at the Texas French Symposium in 2002. Aside from being good in improvisation technique, Ray's strength lies on being adaptable in any given situation. Ray has an extensive credits in doing commercials.
Throughout his life Ray grew up knowing he wanted to do something different --taking on roles of different people of characters. Born in Iran but at two months old, his family moved to United States before relocating to Canada where he spent six years growing up with a French speaking background.
When they moved to Texas in high school, Ray was very involved in theatre and also very athletic. He was an exceptional student. He took Biology during his freshman years at University of Texas in Arlington, but realized Medicine was not for him.
In Fall 2004, he got interested in acting through UTA's Fine Arts department, where he met Angela Inman, a theatre professor at the University. She became his mentor in the art of dramatic performance.
Ray produced "Clean People" for Roy Boy Films which won the 2005 Best Comedy at the Gulf Coast Film & Video Festival. Ray has worked on seven films under his belt and is constantly honing his craft with notable acting coaches in Hollywood.
