A native Californian, Edward has always loved to play distinct characters. In 2003, his acting career began with "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World," filming six months in Mexico, where he learned so much about stage combat, how to handle flint lock weapons, and how a set is run.
When he returned, he hit the gound running studying at Tony award-winning South Coast Repertory's Professional Conservatory and a summer workshop at LAMDA, where he learned Physical Theatre and the Michael Chekhov Technique.
Diving into any project he could, he quickly discovered via trial by fire what techniques worked for him. An ability to connect to his darker side while still remaining vulnerable landed him some wonderfully challenging roles. Beginning with the role of Max in "In With Thieves," a 'shoot em' up' gangster flick where his character cheats the Albanian mafia to pay for his drug habit.
Continuing with the dark family drama "Junction" (the Audience Award recipient at Dances With Films 2008) and culminating with the title role in "Spike" (2008), a beauty and the beast tale gone horribly awry that premiered at the prestigious Edinburgh International Film Festival (the movie won 'Best Fantasy Feature' at the 2009 Los Angeles Sci-Fi/Horror Film Festival).
Dedicated to improving his craft, Edward studies with 'Backstage' Readers Choice's favorite coach, Kimberly Jentzen, who's Jentzen Technique and mixture of methods continues to inspire him and complements him whatever works mentality. His latest project is playing the monster in Starway Pictures' first feature "The Blackout" to be released soon.
Edward has worked for three years aboard Tallship: The Big Pilgrim at the Ocean Institute doing children educational programs. He has sttudied at South Coast Repertory and The London Academy Of Music And Dramatic Art. His favorite works involved prosthetic makeup obscuring his real face.
Edward is currently a member of The Uprising Theatre Company and works part-time at the Swordsplay LA (www.swordplayla.com) as a Swordfighting/Fencing instructor. His newest course of provate study is Jeet Kune Do.
Edward was recently seen in an Intel commercial. His recent tv credits include "C.S.I.," and "Heroes." He recently did stunt works on "The Deadliest Warrior."
Edward is currently filming a supporting role in a project by Erik Rodgers (producer of "Spike"). He just finished shooting the comedy feature "Finding Mr. Wright". He is currently shooting the web series "Shadow Warriors" and is doing the fight choreography for the new action project "Battle Femme Fatale".
