A native of Miami, Florida, Tania is the daughter of Cuban born immigrants. A dancer since the age of four, she began acting at the age of 11 when she started attending one of the first performing arts schools in the country.

After auditioning for the new cast of the Mickey Mouse Club she got her first agent and went on to do commercials, PSA's, and modeling while continuing her study at the city's other prominent arts schools.

She went on to attend the Florida State University BFA program, but after only two and a half years, decided it was time to ply her trade in Los Angeles and graduated early with a BA in Theatre.

In Los Angeles, she immediately got to work at The Beverly Hills Playhouse where she had Master class under the tutelage of Milton Katselas. She was fortunate enough to get the role of Anna in his production of Four in 2003.

Tania is proud to have met and worked with some other wonderful people in Los Angeles including being directed by Anthony Edwards in her first LA job on ER, and George Clooney in his HBO pilot Unscripted.

She can also be caught in various national commercials including Budweiser, Mervyn's, Nicotrol, Walmart, and The Gap.
