Julianna David-  Bio

Julianna was raised by a loving family filled with artists, farmers, writers and teachers.  When she told her dad, novelist Robert Bausch, that she wanted to be an actor, he smiled, and said, “Climb the big hill, my girl.”

Julianna graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Theatre and a concentration in Voice and Dance.  Always her life long dream to perform, she immediately auditioned for The National Theater of the Performing Arts in New York City and landed two roles.  For a year she toured about the country in The Nutcracker Suite and as Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker.

After touring, Julianna relocated to Portland Oregon and started Sojourn Theatre Company with other Virginia Tech artists.  After two defining years as an actor and a company member, Julianna relocated to Los Angeles to write, act and learn.

Since in Los Angeles, she has studied with Gary Imhoff at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and Ted Walch with Harvard-Westlake.  Julianna was lucky enough to book a play at the Hayworth Theater called A Delicate Arrangement with Oscar nominated actor Charles Durning, directed by Dan Lauria.  Her most recent film credits include Eagles in a Chicken Coop with Kathleen Quinlan and 4:19 with Nakoa Lee.  Julianna can be seen in season three of Criminal Minds now in syndication.

An accomplished actor and singer, Julianna is also a writer of short stories, taking after her dad.  She has also created a new film group dedicated to creating new, short pieces for the festival circuit called Fall Back Films.
