Emma-Jayne Appleyard



Emma-Jayne is originally from Leeds in the UK and initially trained as a dancer at Armley Dance Studios. She worked all over the world in Las Vegas style revue shows before returning to the UK to work in musical theater.

Her West End debut was playing the role of Go-to Hell-Kitty and understudying the lead role of Velma Kelly in Chicago The Musical.  She has worked on numerous television shows for former Spice Girl, Emma Bunton, as one of her dancers and also appeared in Irvin Winkler's Delovely.  She has played many leading roles in The West End including, Ulla in The Producers, Coral in the world premier of Simply Cinderella and originated the role of Deadpan Dolores in the UK premier of The Stripper, written by Richard O'Brien.

Emma-Jayne Appleyard recently starred in the original musical "Ghost of Gershwin" in Los Angeles.  She is currently based in New York City.
